Join industry experts at Training Sessions to help guide you through the process of getting to zero-emission. Each session will be held in the morning and repeated in the afternoon. If you miss the training session, you can also visit our mini expo where CALSTART partners will be on hand to answer your questions.

How to Pick Your Trucks: Identifying the Right Tech for the Application
This training will provide fleet managers with an overview of commercially-available zero-emission trucks (ZETs) on the market today. It will also provide tips for identifying duty cycles within your fleet primed for electrification, including key considerations such as range, payload, charging/dwell times, etc. This training will include best practices for piloting and then scaling ZETs in your fleet. This training will be led by Jessie Lund, CALSTART’s Truck Lead Project Manager.

How to Pay for your Tech: Incentives and How to Help Your TCO
This training will introduce fleet managers to the plethora of state, local, and national incentive programs available to help them cover the incremental cost of zero-emission vehicle procurement. This training will be led by Tom Brotherton, CALSTART’s Director of Market Acceleration.

How to Charge your Tech: Charging/Refueling Infrastructure – Minimizing Expenses
This training will provide fleet managers with best practices for planning and deploying charging/refueling infrastructure to support ZETs in their operations. Incentives for charging infrastructure will be included, as well as tips for how to minimize charging expenses, including right-sizing, smart charging, and on-site electricity generation and/or storage. Ride and Drive Lines: First Come, First Served

Please be aware, in order to test drive a zero-emission truck/vehicle, you will need to bring your drivers license, sign a waiver and attend a brief 5-10 minute safety talk.

There will be more than 20 zero-emission trucks on three Ride and Drive Courses. The Ride and Drive will be on a first come, first serve basis with lines forming at the Ride and Drive holding areas at the event. Since we are expecting so many attendees, we appreciate your patience and will do our best to ensure everyone that is interested in a test drive or a ride along will have the opportunity.

We can’t wait to see you on June 8th at the Auto Club Speedway in Fontana!
